Freshman Antonie Pieterse capture the first-ever Roberts Wesleyan University Swimming and Diving All-American award as he placed sixth in the 100-yard butterfly at the Division II Swimming and Diving Championships over the weekend in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Pieterse swam a school-record time of 46.66 in the preliminary round to earn a spot in the evening championship finals. He finished the finals in 47.74 to capture sixth place overall and All-American honors.

He also swam in the 200-yard butterfly and the 100-yard freestyle at the championships.
