Senior Jackson Doran clocked a time just six seconds off his school-record time to win the mile race at the Youngstown Mid-Major Invitational over the weekend. His time of 4:12.16 was the top time out of 14 runners as he out kicked three other runners to win by 0.11 seconds at the line. The top four runners finished in a span of one second. He was also 14th in a field of 78 runners in the 3K race with a time of 8:46.92. He currently ranks No. 1 in the Mile and No. 2 in the 3K in the ECC.
