Sophomore Kennedy Benjamins reached new heights over the weekend as she set a new personal best mark of 3.91 meters (12’ 10”) as she placed second at the Blue and Orange Invitational meet in Utica. She entered the competition with the bar set at 3.61 meters (11’ 10”) and cleared the bar on her second attempt. She then cleared the next two bars on her first attempt for the new career best effort. The height moved her to Np. 13 in the country and No. 2 in the East Region.
