Roberts Wesleyan Redhawks

Sophomore striker, Michael Cunningham, had a fantastic run of games this week on the soccer pitch. Scoring 3 goals in 2 games, he performed marvelously in the homecoming festivities. He racked up 2 goals in the game against Buffalo State and added another against NYIT after cutting through the entire defense and sinking one for the Redhawks’ only goal of the night.
 
But perhaps the greatest victory for Cunningham this week did not occur on the pitch, but rather in the stands, where both of his parents were watching proudly—having flown all the way from his hometown in England to see their son play.  
 
Cunningham and the Redhawks will take on long-time rival Houghton College this Tuesday at 7.
