Men's socccer player Jake Schindler has been selected as a 3rd Team All-American by the NAIA.
Jake Schindler, a senior from Irondequoit, NY, earned the recognition for the first time in his career. He is the first men's player since
Roger Groome was selected a 2nd Team NAIA All-American in 2001. Schindler started 24 games recording 7 goals and 2 assists as a defender. Schindler played just about every position on the field this season for the Raiders but was the anchor in the back for most of the season.
Schindler was named a 1st team All-AMC selection, NCCAA East Region Co-Player of the Year, and was named to the All-Tournament team at the NCCAA National Tournament.
The Raiders finished the season 9-12-2 and advanced to the NCCAA National Tournament for the second time in three years.
