Raiders Soccer Teams Romp, Earn Clean-Sheets

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (September 16, 2011)
-  The Men's and Women's Soccer teams both earned much needed wins tonight. The Men's side won 6-0 on the road at Fisher College in Boston, Mass. The Women's team won 3-0 at home versus Carlow University.

The star of the night for the Women's game was senior Erika Ludke (Greece, N.Y.). The reigning American Mideast Conference player of the year eanred the hat-trick, scoring in the 16th, 29th, and 86th minutes to seal the win. The Raiders improve to 4-3-0 and 1-0-0 in conference play.

In Boston, the Men's team cruised to a 6-0 win over an outmatched Fisher College side. Senior Dominic Coco (Spencerport, N.Y.) added to his tally with two goals in the match. Freshman forward Caleb Orbaker (Holley, N.Y.) got in on the action with a brace of his own. Donovan Wilson and Ricky DiPasquale also added goals for the Raiders. The team improves to 3-3-0 with the win.

The Women's team will travel to Pittsburgh on Wednesday for a re-match agianst Carlow University with a 4pm start. The Men's team faces Fisher College again tomorrow at 2pm in Boston, Mass.
