ROCHESTER, N.Y. (November 2, 2012) – The Men's Soccer team host their regular season finale at home this evening when they take on NCCAA East Region rivals, Houghton College at 7pm.
Due to the high amounts of rain this week, the game will be played on the artificial turf practice field that is adjacent to the stadium grass field.
Fans are encouraged to come early as the team's senior class will be honored in a special pre-game ceremony.
SCOUTING ROBERTS WESLEYAN (7-8-1, 4-4-1 ECC)
The Redhawks are looking to end the season on a high note as they hope to finish with a .500 record in their first season competing at the NCAA Division II level.
In their last outing, Roberts Wesleyan picked up a 4-0 win over the visiting Firebirds of the University of the District of Columbia. The four-goal output was the most this season, as the team wrapped up East Coast Conference action with a respectable 4-4-1 record.

SCOUTING HOUGHTON (9-5-2, 3-2-1 E8)
Coming into the game, the Highlanders have gone undefeated in their last seven games. Their last loss came on Sep. 27 when they fell 1-0 on the road at Medaille College.
Houghton has a balanced team this season with goals coming from 10 different players, including points leader Michael Dix. The senior leads the team with 12 points (4 goals, 4 assists).
The Highlanders defense is anchored by junior goalkeeper Tyler Mastin. The Houghton-native has seven shutouts this season to go along with an impressive .829 save percentage.
