Michael Cunningham Named to NSCAA/Continental Tire NCCAA All-American First Team

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (December 12, 2012) – Sophomore forward Michael Cunningham has been named to the 2012 NSCAA/Continental Tire NCCAA Division I All-American First Team.

Cunningham, a native of Derbyshire, England, led the Redhawks this season with 23 points (9 goals, 5 assists). The forward saw action in 17 games while starting all but one game. He earned a game-winning goal against Buffalo State on Sep. 26.

The sophomore joins an elite list of men's soccer players from Roberts Wesleyan as an NSCAA First Team All-American. In program history, there have been nine First Team All-Americans, which includes senior forward Donavan Wilson. This season, Wilson was named to the NCCAA All-Tournament team after scoring three goals and adding an assist in three games.

Senior defender Brandon Conley earned Second Teams honors after making the NCCAA East Region First Team. Conley helped the
Redhawks earn six shutouts while starting all 22 games.
