PITTSBURGH (February 10, 2012) - The Women's Basketball team defeated the Carlow University Celtics this evening, 71-55.
The Raiders have now won six straight games after losing to Point Park University at home on January 21.
Freshman forward
Marissa Sell led the Raiders with 18 points while falling two rebounds shy of a double-double.
Sara Alwardt finished the night with nine points, 10 rebounds, and three assists.
The win improved the Raiders overall record to 18-8 and 8-3 in the American Mideast Conference.
The Raiders face Point Park tomorrow afternoon at 3:30pm. The Pioneers lead the AMC standings with a conference record of 9-1 and 18-5 overall.
