ROCHESTER, N.Y. (March 13, 2012) – The Women's Tennis team earned their first win in the Spring season over the weekend by defeating future East Coast Conference rivals, New York Institute of Technology, 5-4.
The Raiders scored wins from
Kaylee Eamer,
Kaitlynn Zaffuto, and
Julia Vitale in singles action.
In doubles, Earner and Vitale notched a win in 3
rd doubles for the Raiders.
The win lifts the Raiders to 5-5 in 2011-12 and 1-2 in the Spring portion of the schedule.
The team is action this weekend when they travel to Lima, Ohio to take on the University of Northwestern Ohio on Friday and Aquinas College on Saturday.
