CEDARVILLE, Ohio (September 15, 2012) –  The Men's Soccer team fell to Cedarville (Ohio) University this evening, 1-0, ending the Redhawks two-game win streak.
The lone goal came from a successful penalty kick by the Yellowjackets' Steve Ellis in the 57th minute. Ellis' shot went straight down the center of the goal as Redhawks' goalkeeper #Michael Scavone dove to the right.

The Redhawks struggled to produce any offense throughout the game, managing just two shots and no shots on goal. However, the defense was kept busy as Cedarville piled on 17 shots, putting five on frame.

Scavone was solid in front of the goal, making four saves on the night.

The win keeps Cedarville undefeated at 7-0 on the season.

With the loss, the Redhawks fall to 2-3 and are off for a week until they host Mercy College next Friday in their conference opener at 7pm.
