ROCHESTER, N.Y. (September 26, 2012) – The Men's Soccer team picked up a 3-0 win against Buffalo State this evening to end their two-game losing skid.
The man of the match was sophomore forward
Michael Cunningham, scoring goals in the 11
th and 86
th minutes to lead the team to their third home win of the season.
Stephen Stewart also scored for the Redhawks in the 35
th minute.
With the two goals, Cunningham now has 11 points (5 goals, 1 assist) to lead the team.
In goal,
Michael Scavone picked up his third clean sheet of the season after making three saves in the game.
The win improves the Redhawks record to 3-5-0 overall in 2012.
Up next for the team is a homecoming match-up with East Coast Conference opponents, New York Institute of Technology this Saturday at 3:30pm.
