BROCKPORT, N.Y. (September 5, 2012) – The Women's Tennis team cruised to their first win of the season this afternoon, defeating The College at Brockport, 9-0.

Tina Miller defeated Brockport's MacKenzie Rounds (6-2, 6-0) after teaming up with doubles partner
Dina Obukhova to win first doubles 8-5 against Brockport's team of Rounds and Kumrmis (8-5).
Other notable wins came from
Julia Vitale in fifth singles, defeating Lauren Bohman (4-6, 6-2, 10-7) in a close match. In third doubles, the twin sister duo of
Camilla Linhart and
Emily Linhart defeated Brockport's Katelyn Richbenburg and Sarah Stromski (8-2).
The Redhawks are back in action this Friday when they host East Coast Conference opponent, the University of the District of Columbia in a morning match with the action starting at 10am.
