ROCHESTER, N.Y. (September 8, 2012) – The Women's Tennis team gave the visiting Firebirds of the University of the District of Columbia all they could handle yesterday afternoon, losing 5-4 in their East Coast Conference Opener.
The Redhawks were led by

rd singles, as she dispatched Maxime Duijst 7-5, 7-6 (2-0).
Meg Kelly won at 5
th singles by defeating Ty Abilla 6-4, 6-1.
In 1
st doubles, the Redhawks came up just short as the Firebirds team of Kristyna Nepivodova/Maixme Duijst edged
Tina Miller/
Dina Obukhova 8-7 (5-0).
The Redhawks, now 1-4 on the season will look to bounce back this Sunday on the road when they take on LIU-Post at 11am.
