BROOKVILLE, N.Y. (October 4, 2013) – The Men's Soccer team lost 3-0 to #2 LIU Post this afternoon in conference action.
The visiting Redhawks gave it their best effort on the road this afternoon, keeping the game scoreless until the 42
nd minute.
The Pioneers received goals from three different players, including Eirik Bjoernoe, who scored the first goal and eventual game-winner in the form of a penalty kick.
Florian Witte was credited with six saves on the day in front of goal for the Redhawks.
The loss drops Roberts Wesleyan to 2-6-1 overall and 1-3 in the East Coast Conference.
The team will take a day off before visiting New York Institute of Technology at 2pm on Sunday.
