ROCHESTER, N.Y. (October 9, 2013) – The Women's Tennis team picked up a 9-0 win over Daemen College in East Coast Conference action this afternoon.
Tina Miller won a competitive match at first singles, defeating the Wildcats' Hayle Scanlan 6-3, 6-1. In doubles play, Miller and
Fatima Ouattara came up 8-2 winners against Brianna Fiorita and Scanlan.
Maria Jimenez was solid at second singles after winning 6-2, 6-0 over Shaylah Iverson.
The win lifts Roberts Wesleyan to 5-2 in the conference and an impressive 10-2 overall.
Roberts Wesleyan is back on the courts when they travel to compete in Niagara University's Fall Invitational this weekend.
