Dobbs Ferry, N.Y. (November 3, 2013) – Men's Soccer split their weekend away, losing in their second road game this weekend to Mercy College. The final score was 3 – 0, this was the last regular season match for Roberts. Â
Roberts was coming off of a hard fought win against St. Thomas Aquinas just 2 days prior. Mercy scored early in the third minute but remained scoreless through the rest of the half.
Troy Bowersox was able to crack a shot at goal, but it was saved by Mercy's goalie.
 Mercy barreled down on Roberts with a total 26 shots to Roberts 5.  17 of Mercy's shots came in the second half. The second goal came just in the 45 minute of play, with a through ball past Roberts' defense. Mercy did not let up as their final goal came in the 80
th minute of play off a free kick.
Goal Keeper Florian Whitte totaled 5 saves for the match.
Roberts has one more non conference game against their long time rival Houghton College. The Redhawks will play at Houghton Thursday November 7
th at 7pm.
