ERIE, Pa. (March 10, 2013) – The Women's Tennis team fell to Mercyhurst University on Saturday, 9-0, in non-conference action.
The Redhawks best opportunity to earn a points came in third doubles as Julia Viatle and
Emily Linhart fell to the Lakers' Taylor Wedlake and Katelyn Caniford, 8-5.
Maria Jimenez put forth a solid effort before falling to Rebecca Haener 7-5, 6-0 in third singles.
Mercyhurst entered the match undefeated and improved to 10-0 on the year.
The loss drops Roberts Wesleyan to 8-8 overall as they are off until Mar. 23 when they host Elmira College for a match at 1pm.
