Women's Lacrosse Loses to Grand Valley (Mich.) State, 15-12

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (March 30, 2013) – Freshman Loren Dunn scored a game-high seven goals, but the Redhawks were unable to defeat Grand Valley (Mich.) State this afternoon, 15-12.

The Redhawks pulled to within one goal after Dunn scored her sixth goal of the game with 13:43 remaining to make it a 11-10 Lakers lead.

Grand Valley, however, scored the next four goals to take a commanding 14-10 lead with less than eight minutes left on the clock.

Roberts Wesleyan managed to score two of the final three goals, but it wasn't enough as the home team fell to 5-4 on the year.

Dunn scored her seven goals off of 10 shots, including 3 of 4 in free-position attempts.

In goal, Victoria Link made two saves to earn the loss before Stephanie McClure made six saves in the final 32 minutes of the game.

The Redhawks host the University of Bridgeport in the their first-ever home conference game next Saturday at noon.
