ROCHESTER, N.Y. (March 8, 2013) – The Women's Lacrosse team makes their home debut Saturday afternoon at 4:30pm when they host the Fighting Scots of Edinboro (Pa.) University.
This is the second meeting between the two programs as Edinboro defeated the visiting Redhawks last season, 15-6.

Dunn has started out quickly as she leads the Redhawks with 11 points (10 goals, 1 assist) through three games. 15 of her 18 shots are put on frame. The freshman is currently tied for eighth in the East Coast Conference in goals.
Fox leads the Redhawks with 13 draw controls, which places her third in the conference in that category. The freshman also has 4 points (3 goals, 1 assist).
SCOUTING EDINBORO (0-0/0-0 PSAC)
Saturday's game will be the season opener for the Fighting Scots. Last season the team finished 7-10, which was the best record for the fifth-year program.
Senior Shannon Rohrich returns for her final campaign after having led the Fighting Scots last season with a total of 45 points (41 goals, 4 assists). Rohrich posted a .783 shots on goal percentage in 2012 in addition to leading the team with 49 draw controls.
Edinboro places a freshman (Autumn Held) in goal to replace Teresa Fiori who made 153 saves while playing every minute for Edinboro last season.

The team has a quick turnaround as they host Buffalo State this Monday at 4pm.
On Saturday, Mar. 16, the Redhawks travel to take on Morrisville State before visiting SUNY Canton on Wednesday, Mar. 20.
The road swing ends Saturday, Mar. 23 when they open up ECC play by visiting Mercy College for an 11am game.
