Women's Lacrosse Hosts Bridgeport in Conference Home Opener

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (April 5, 2013) – The Women's Lacrosse team hosts the University of Bridgeport tomorrow in the program's first-ever home conference game.

The noon game is the first meeting between the two programs.

SCOUTING ROBERTS WESLEYAN (5-4/0-1 ECC)
The Redhawks are looking to get back into the win column after falling 15-12 to Grand Valley (Mich.) State on Saturday. After trailing 8-3 at the half, the Redhawks rallied to pull within one goal after Loren Dunn scored her sixth goal of the game with 13:43 remaining to make it a 11-10 Lakers lead. Roberts Wesleyan managed to score two of the final three goals, but it wasn't enough to edge the visiting Lakers.

Against GVSU, Dunn scored seven goals to lead the Redhawks. The freshman has now scored seven goals in a game three times. Dunn currently ranks second the East Coast Conference in goals with a total of 37.

Both Dunn and Alison Kendall rank one and two in the ECC in free-position goals. Dunn is 12 of 19 as Kendall is 10 of 18.
