SPARKILL, N.Y. (September 6, 2013) – The Women's Tennis team cruised to a 9-0 win over St. Thomas Aquinas College this afternoon.
Tina Miller led the Redhawks with wins at first singles after winning first singles with newcomer Fatima Quattara.
In singles action, Miller was able to hold off the Spartan's Bianca Signore 6-3, 6-1.
With Quattara, Miller cruised to an 8-0 over St. Thomas Aquinas' duo of Signore and Candice Zugibe.
At fourth singles,
Emily Linhart earned a hard fought point for the visitors after beating Shannon Biehl 2-6, 6-4 (10-4).
Roberts Wesleyan continues their road swing on Saturday when they take on Dowling College at 1pm.
