Rochester, NY - (January 24, 2014) - The women's Basketball team had an easy victory against Mercy this evening in conference play 79 -47.
Roberts was able to cap a decisive lead early on, going on an 11 and 3 run. The Redhawks never lost the lead or even allowed Mercy to tie, ending the first half, 41 - 29.

Chelsea Sanders led the Redhawks with 18 points. Her class mate
Samantha Courtney posted and impressive double double 14 points and 12 rebounds. Ashley Cinfriaglia also scored in the double figures with 13 points she also added 4 assists.
Roberts used a team effort to take Mercy, Junior foward
Christina Healy added 12 points and 7 rebounds for the Redhawks, classmate Carnesha Henry also contributed 8 rebounds.
The win advances their record to 7-8 and 3 -6 in the ECC.
As a team Roberts went 29 for 62 from the field, 6 for 19 from three and 15 for 32 from the line.
The Redhawks have a quick turnaround, they play tomorrow Saturday January 25 at 2pm against St Thomas Aquinas College.
