HOUGHTON, N.Y. (Oct. 28, 2014) – Roberts Wesleyan dropped their final non-conference game of the season this evening, a 4-0 decision against Houghton.
The visiting Redhawks were unable to muster any significant chances, managing just one shot on goal.
For Houghton, Cory Brautigam and Jared Toth gave the team a 2-0 lead mid-way in the first half with goals coming in the 27
th and 29
th minutes respectively.
The home team added two more goals early in the second half as Jesse Toth scored in the 52
nd minute before Ben Munkittrick scored in the 57
th.
In goal,
Michael Scavone played nearly 58 minutes before being subbed out by
John Ciavaglia, who was credited with a pair of saves.
The loss drops the Redhawks to 9-5-2 as they prepare to face LIU Post on Friday at 7:30pm for an East Coast Conference match-up.
