Kissimmee, Fla. ( December 2, 2014) – The men's Soccer team fell 4-0 to Palm Beach Atlantic this afternoon at the NCCAA National Championship.
Palm Beach beat out Southern Wesleyan last month to make it into the National Championship and landed the
sixth seed.
Palm Beach started out with an early lead as their free kick was deflected and rebounded in just two minutes into action. Lucas Coutinho would go on to score the next two goals for Palm Beach off a deflection in the 23
rd minute and a rebound in the 80
th. The Sailfish's final goal came shortly after when a penalty kick was rebounded in just two minutes later.
Palm Beach took advantage of Roberts Wesleyan's numerous fouls with two of their four goals being the result of a set play.
Roberts Wesleyan totaled seven shots to Palm Beach Atlantic's 18. Shots on target came from
Matthew Hohler and
Cameron Stewart, but were unable to get past the Sailfish goalie.

Michael Scavone recorded five saves for the Redhawks.
The men's record drops to 11-7-7 as their season wraps up.
The game wraps up pool play for Roberts Wesleyan, check in tomorrow to see if the Redhawks earned a spot in the finals with the wildcard.
