Erie, Pa. (March 14, 2014) - The Women's Tennis team took a definitive win against Edinboro University this afternoon. The Redhawks won 6-3.
In singles
Maria Jimenez and
Camilla Linhart both won in 2 sets, in the second and fourth singles. Teammates
Kaitlynn Zaffuto and
Julia Vitale in the fifth and sixth singles took wins in 3 sets each and securing a lead for the Redhawks.
In the first doubles
Tina Miller and
Fatima Ouattara solidified Roberts lead. Zaffuto and
Emily Linhart brought the win home in third doubles.
The win puts Roberts at 1-1 in their spring season and 11-5 overall
The Redhawks play again at Elmira College Saturday March 29th at 10 am
