Women's Lacrosse Defeats Tiffin in Second Half Comeback

Rochester, N.Y. (March 26, 2014) - The Women's Lacrosse team took down Tiffin University this afternoon in a second half stunner 11-8.

The Redhawks started out trailing the Dragons in a low scoring first half. Ali Fox scored Roberts first goal to tie the score at 1-1. Fox would go on to score 3 goals and win 6 draw controls, a game high. The half ended 2-4 dragons, with Roberts second goal coming from Sophomore Loren Dunn, she would end with 2 goals her second coming from a free position shot.

The Redhawks started out the second half strong, scoring four goals in the first four minutes. Two of these goals came from freshman stand out Cassley Jackowski. Jackowski notched a game high 5 goals for the Redhawks, all of which came in the second half. She also had 1 assist.

Senior Alison Kendall also had a goal for the Redhawks. In goal, newcomer Paige HIggins had a great game, posting 12 saves.


The win brings their record to 4-6 and 1-1 in the ECC.

The Redhawks are home again this weekend where they face some ECC competition with LIU Post. They game is set for Saturday March 29th at 12pm.
