ALLENDALE, Mich. (March 31, 2014) – The Women's Lacrosse team suffered a 17-4 loss this afternoon on the road at Grand Valley State University.
Roberts Wesleyan fell behind quickly as the Lakers scored the first 10 goals of the game.
At the 5:50 mark, freshman Cassley Jackwoski was able to stop the bleeding as she put the visitors on the board.
The Redhawks managed to score two more goals, making it a 10-3 game. However, the Lakers then scored five unanswered goals to stretch their lead 12 goals.
Jackowski then scored the team's fourth goal with 9:31 remaining in the game, but that was as close as the Redhawks would get as Grand Valley tacked on two more goals.
Grand Valley State was dominant throughout the game as they out-shot the Redhawks 34 to 20 while placing 29 of those shots on frame.

Victoria Link was credited with making 17 saves in the loss.
With the loss, Roberts Wesleyan falls to 4-8 overall as they prepare to host the University of the District of Columbia this Sunday at noon.
