Erie, Pa. (March 6, 2014) - The Women's Lacrosse team took a hard loss to Meryhurst this afternoon, the final score was 19-1. Their record going into conference play is 2-3.
Mercyhurst took the lead quickly, and were up 10 points before Roberts was able to score. With less than two minutes left in the game freshman Cassley Jackowski scored Roberts lone goal unassisted.
Allison Kendall won 5 of Roberts 10 drawIn controls; and while Roberts and Mercyhurst were evenly paired in draw controls, Mercyhurst dominated in groundballs and shots.
The Redhawks play this Saturday in their ECC opener against Dowling College. The game is at 12pm at Dowling.
