Box Score Brookhaven, N.Y. (March 8, 2014) – The women's Lacrosse team lost to Dowling college this evening in their first conference game 21-10.
Roberts started out behind, with Dowling going up 3-0. Fresh man standout
Cassley Jackowski scored the first goal for Roberts and would go on to score 6 goals with 5 draw controls and score 1 of 2 free position shots.
The Redhawks would continue to fall behind ending the first half 14-4.
Other goal scorers included
Ali Fox who notched 2 goals 1 assists and six draw controls. She was 2-3 in free position shots.
Savannah Tucker and
Loren Dunn each scored 1 goal.
Defensively goalie
Victoria Link had 7 saves
The loss drops the Redhawks to 2-4 and 0-1 in the ECC.
Roberts is away Tuesday March 11
th at Slippry Rock to take on Slippery Rock University at 4:00pm.
