LATHAM, N.Y. (April 12, 2014) – The Women's Tennis team extended their winning streak to four after defeating the College of Saint Rose, 9-0, Friday afternoon.
The match saw Roberts Wesleyan cruise to their second consecutive shutout victory.
At third single,
Fatima Ouattara blanked the Golden Knights' Maggie Moran 6-0, 6-0 after teaming up with
Tina Miller to pick up an 8-4 win over Moran and Paige Southwick.
Miller also won at first singles by downing Southwick 6-2, 6-0.
The visitors managed to win third doubles and sixth singles wins by default as Saint Rose did not have enough players for the match.
The Redhawks, who visit Oswego State next Wednesday, improved to 14-5 overall with the non-conference win.
