Queens Gets By Women's Tennis, 7-2

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (Sep. 12, 2014) – Roberts Wesleyan fell at home this afternoon to Queens, 7-2, in an East Coast Conference match.

The Redhawks picked up a point at sixth singles as Julia Vitale downed the Knights' Sarah O'Leary 6-1, 6-1. The win gave Vitale her second win through four matches this season.

Roberts Wesleyan also earned a victory at third doubles as sisters Emily Linhart and Camilla Linhart teamed up to defeat Sumeera Kamil and Molly Fanelli, 9-7. That result also put the Linharts doubles record at 2-2 on the season.

The loss drops the Redhawks to 1-4 overall and 1-3 in conference action. The team has a chance to make a quick rebound as they host Molloy tomorrow morning at 10am.
