Men’s Soccer Falls to Molloy

The Redhawks fell just short of victory 3-2

ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The Redhawks came up short of victory after mounting a late game comeback to bring the game within one off of a 85th minute goal from Malcolm Shaw. The visiting Lions, Kyle Poetzsch led the game with a hat trick, scoring each of Molloy's three goals; each goal assisted by a different Lions player.

The Redhawks, Logan Wood, scored the first goal for Roberts Wesleyan in the 52nd minute of the game off of an assist from Daniel Maxwell. Roberts Wesleyan picked up two yellow cards in the game to bring the teams total season cautions to 22.

Turning Point
With Wood's goal early in the second half, the Redhawks continued the press to keep scoring; which was ultimately interrupted by Poetzsch's third goal of the night.

Individual Leaders
- Maxwell had two shots in the game, both on frame, and ending up as saves for Molloy goalkeeper, Stephen Tappeto.
- After today's loss goalkeeper John Ciavaglia is ranked third in saves in the ECC with 40 on the season, after picking up six today.

- Sam Moody picked up his third yellow card. While the other yellow card was attributed to the Roberts Wesleyan bench.
