ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The Redhawks came up short of victory after mounting a late game comeback to bring the game within one off of a 85
th minute goal from
Malcolm Shaw. The visiting Lions, Kyle Poetzsch led the game with a hat trick, scoring each of Molloy's three goals; each goal assisted by a different Lions player.
The Redhawks,
Logan Wood, scored the first goal for Roberts Wesleyan in the 52
nd minute of the game off of an assist from
Daniel Maxwell. Roberts Wesleyan picked up two yellow cards in the game to bring the teams total season cautions to 22.
Turning PointWith Wood's goal early in the second half, the Redhawks continued the press to keep scoring; which was ultimately interrupted by Poetzsch's third goal of the night.
Individual Leaders- Maxwell had two shots in the game, both on frame, and ending up as saves for Molloy goalkeeper, Stephen Tappeto.
