Senior
Malcolm Shaw knotted the score up at 1-1 in the 30

rd minute when Benhur Gebretsanie was on the receiving end of a through ball from Malik Thom that he tucked away into the back of the net from just three yards out.
The Redhawks came to life in the final ten minutes of the game starting with a driven shot by Shaw that was saved out of play for a Roberts Wesleyan corner kick. The Redhawks earned three corners in a two minute span, but were unable to capitalize on the opportunities.
Roberts Wesleyan outshot the Firebirds 10-9 in the game. Shaw led the team with five shots.
With the score not in the Redhawks favor, the team still gave honor to its senior class for their last game. "Obviously it's not the result we wanted to go out with," head coach
Scott Reber said. "We have big shoes to fill with graduating five of our seniors. Those guys were a huge part of our program over the last four years."
The Redhawks graduating seniors include Shaw, Aderounmu,
Kehinde Aderounmu,
Will Cornfield, and team manager Nat Harrington.
Roberts Wesleyan finished with a 4-11-1 overall record this season.
