Bridgeport, Conn. - Roberts Wesleyan women's lacrosse team won their ECC conference opener against Bridgeport Saturday afternoon. 

Turning Point 
After trailing 4-1, the Redhawks came back and responded with 6-2 run, giving them a 7-6 lead going into halftime. 

Starting the second half, the Redhawks came out strong scoring six unanswered goals. This run gave the Redhawks the momentum to finish the game with a win.

Individual Leaders
- Loren Dunn and Ali Fox eached scored six goals for the Redhawks.
-Teammate Cassley Jackowski was right behind them with four goals. 
- In goal, Shannon Knapp had 14 saves to bring home the win.

Inside the Box Score
- Jackowski now leads the team with total goals for the season with 24 goals over a span of five games 
- The Redhawks had five players score in Saturday afternoon's match.
