ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Roberts Wesleyan came up short in a hard fought battle against No. 5 Mercyhurst. The Redhawks kept the game close, only behind three goals at the end of the first half.
 
Seven Redhawks contributed to the scoring with Amanda Cluck, Cassley Jackowski, Megan Burnham, Kelsey Covel, Loren Dunn, Ali Fox, and Johannah Price all had shots finding the back of the net. Goalkeeper Shannon Knapp, 18 saves, came up one save short of tying her personal record of 19.

Turning Point
The second half started with a goal from Dunn. Roberts Wesleyan fought hard to keep up with the visiting Lakers as Mercyhurst went on to score eight times in the half.

Individual Leaders
- Covel scored twice off of three shots, she also had two groundballs in the game.
- Dunn had three goals in the game off of six shots. She also has five groundballs and three caused turnovers.
