ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The Roberts Wesleyan men's soccer team defeated Lock Haven University on Tuesday night, 2-0 to win their fourth game of the season.

Junior midfielder
Daniel Maxwell scored his first goal of the season in the 28th minute to give Roberts the lead. Assists were credited to both
Terrell Spencer and
Mateo Alexander after a low driven cross by Spencer led to a saved shot taken by Alexander that ultimately fell in front of Maxwell who was sprinting down the left side of the field.
Â
The Bald Eagles continued a strong attacking style of play which resulted in 20 shots in the game with seven on target, but the Redhawks' defense stood strong alongside goalkeeper
John Ciavaglia to keep the clean sheet intact.
Â
In the second half the Redhawks extended the lead with a brilliant goal by defender
Jeremiah Ochepo in the 61st minute. The redshirt freshman dribbled up the left side of the field with open space in front and fired a shot from over 20 yards out that soared over the keeper's hands into the top right corner of the net. It was Ochepo's first career goal.
Â
Roberts will close the season out on Saturday as they take on NYIT at 3:30 p.m. There will also be a senior day ceremony for the men's team prior to the start of the game.
