ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Nine different players tallied goals as the Roberts Wesleyan women's lacrosse team put on a scoring frenzy against Nyack College winning, 21-3 on Thursday afternoon.

Junior attacker,
Johannah Price led all goal scorers with six goals in the game. Senior
Cassley Jackowski, who is the team's leading goal scorer this season posted her highest assist total of the season with seven while adding in five goals of her own.

"I thought we valued the ball today," head coach
Kristin Concordia said. "The team really trusted each other to be in their spots and make the plays we needed to make."

The Redhawks had their highest assist total of the season with 12. Coming into the game Roberts was averaging just 3.5 assists per contest.

Roberts scored the game's first 12 goals before giving up a goal to the Warriors with 6:40 left in the first half. It was a dominating performance on offense for the Redhawks who outshot Nyack 38-14 with 31 of those shots on frame.

Sophomore midfielder,
Megan Burnham joined Price and Jackowski with a hat trick in the game, scoring three goals.

Defensively the Redhawks stood strong as goalkeeper
Shannon Knapp only needed to make five saves in the game. Roberts controlled the Nyack attack and was 10-of-12 on clears in the game.

Roberts Wesleyan improved to 2-3 on the season and will travel to Lakewood, N.J. on Saturday to face Georgian Court University.
