WINONA LAKE, Ind. – The Roberts Wesleyan women's basketball team finished its season with a 92-76 win over Mid-America Christian University on Saturday in the third place game at the National Christian College National Championships.

Freshman
Emily Miller had a double-double of 27 points and 13 rebounds. Her scoring outburst was her second highest of the season while she also tied her game-high in rebounds. Â

The Redhawks wasted no time to build a lead on the Evangels, using an 11-0 run to take a 16-4 lead midway through the first quarter. Roberts extended the lead to 14 during the quarter and did not look back as the Redhawks held a double digit lead for the remainder of the game. The Redhawks largest lead of 29 points came early in the fourth quarter.

As a team Roberts shot over 52-percent from the field on 35-of-67 shooting while holding Mid-America to just over 40-percent from the field.

Three other players joined Miller by scoring in double figures for the Redhawks.
Taya Andrews scored 17,
Lucy Covley had 15 and
Necedah James finished with 13 points.

The Roberts Wesleyan women's basketball team finishes the season with a 21-13 overall record and a third place finish in the NCCAA Tournament.
