EASTON, MASS. – Two first half goals proved too much for the Roberts Wesleyan men's soccer team to overcome as they fell to Stonehill on Thursday evening, 2-1.
 
The Skyhawks pulled ahead early with a goal in the 9
th minute of play off a header by Adam Branco. Stonehill followed up with a second goal in the 35
th minute to go up 2-0. The goal was scored by Keegan Nutt and assisted on by Stephen Vercollone.
 
The Redhawks found their way back into the game with a goal in the 67
th minute by senior 
Sam Moody, his second goal of the season. The Toronto, Ont. native was on receiving end of a cross from 
Logan Wood which was headed into the back of the net.
 
Roberts had two free kick opportunities in the final ten minutes of the game but the Stonehill defense was able to fend off any attack.
 
Starting goalkeeper 
John Ciavaglia made six saves in net.
 
Next up for the Redhawks is a 1 p.m. Saturday matchup against Assumption College.
