MANLIUS, N.Y – The Roberts Wesleyan men's golf team earned their spot atop the leaderboard in the last event of the fall season with a win at the Le Moyne Fall Invitational this past weekend. Three Redhawks would finish in the top-10.
The Redhawks finished the two-round event with a team total of 583 (+7). This put Roberts in first place by five strokes to second place Southern New Hampshire who shot a 588 (+12).
Senior
Brandon Grzywacz placed first overall shooting a five under 139 for the tournament. The Clarendon, NY native shot a 71 (-1) in the first round and shared the tournament's low score of 68 (-4) to close out the second round.
Some other notable performances by the Redhawks include a fourth place finish by senior
Erich Spitz as he shot a 71 (-1) in the first round and 72 (E) in the second round on the par 72, 6,740 yard Cavalry Golf Club course. Also, freshman
Ray Ottman posted another top-10 performance for the Redhawks in this event as he took sixthplace with a 72 (E) in the first round and a 73 (+1) to close out his weekend performance.
