WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Roberts Wesleyan women's basketball team won their fifth straight game on Friday night, defeating the University of the District of Columbia, 75-52.

Emily Miller was the game's leading scorer putting up 21 points along with nine rebounds, three assists and five steals.

The Redhawks put together a dominating second quarter outscoring the Firebirds 26-5. A 19-0 run in the quarter was the determining factor to the big lead for the Redhawks. UDC only scored two baskets in the quarter. The first came at the start of the quarter but Roberts' defense held the Firebirds from getting on the board again until the 1:27 mark of the quarter.

Roberts forced 28 turnovers while coming away with 14 steals in the game leading to 32 total points.
