WALTHAM, MASS. – On Wednesday afternoon, a winner could not be decided between the Roberts Wesleyan men's soccer team and Falcons of Bentley University. The game ended in a 1-1 draw after two overtime periods.

Both teams battled for possession on each side of the field. In the 31stminute, the Falcons opened up the scoring after a pass in was deflected off of several players, eventually allowing Ronan Fitzpatrick to fire the ball in the net, making the score line 1-0.

The second half began with aggressive play from both sides. Fast forward late into the game to the 71stminute, the Redhawks were able to even the score after being fouled inside the box, leading to a penalty kick opportunity to put in the opposing net. Senior midfielder Daniel Maxwell lined up his shot, scored, and got the Redhawks back into the game. However, regular time would expire and the game would go to overtime.
