ROCKVILLE CENTRE, N.Y. - The Roberts Wesleyan women's tennis team fell to Molloy College on Saturday as the Lions were able to sneak away with a 4-3 win.
The Redhawks picked up the dobules point to take a 1-0 advantage heading into singles play.
Laura Freeman and
Carolyn Graham took second doubles, 6-4 while
Sophie Farnholz and
Charity Hinman won third doubles, 6-3.
Hinman and Graham also picked up wins in singles play with Graham earning a 6-2, 6-2 win at fourth singles and Hinman taking a 3-6, 6-3, 1-0 win at sixth singles. Molloy won at the other four spots to seal the home victory.
Roberts (3-6, 0-3 ECC) will host Daemen on Saturday at noon and Le Moyne on Sunday at 1 p.m.
