WINONA LAKE, Ind. – The Roberts Wesleyan women's basketball team fell to Grace College on Saturday, 68-62 in the third place game of the NCCAA Nationals Championships.
The Redhawks held onto the lead for over three quarters but tournament host school Grace was able to go on an 11-0 run early in the fourth quarter to take the lead for the first time in the contest. The lead would change hands six more times before Grace took the final lead following a three pointer with 2:07 left.
The largest lead of the game for Roberts was 14 points when
Dimitra Gkizani hit a shot before the end of the first half.
Emily Miller led the Redhawks with 19 points and 10 rebounds. Gkizani added 12 points and six rebounds.
Roberts closes out the 2018-19 season with a 15-17 overall record.
