ROCHESTER, N.Y. - The Roberts Weslyean Men's and Women's swim we're back in action at home hosting the Oswego Lakers and the men's team falling 197-30 and women's team falling 183-54.
Gabe Rivers was the lone first place finish against the Lakers finishing the 200 freestyle with a time of 1:54.54 early in the meet. Rivers was the leading scorer on the men's side bringing over half of the men's total points with 17 individual points along with his two second place finishes in the 500 freestyle in 5:24.12 and the 100 freestyle with a time of 51.09.
On the women's side Sara Gendrue lead the way scoring 12 individual points was a contributing member of the second place 200 freestyle relay. Gendrue took home second in the 100 freestyle, 500 freestyle, and the 100 breaststroke with times of 58.62, 5:48.07, and 1:14.19, respectively.Â
Next, the teams will head to their final regular season meet before the METS championships at Genesee Community College on Saturday, February 1st.
