FLUSHING, N.Y. - The Roberts Wesleyan women's basketball team fell to East Coast Conference opponent Queens College 82-53 Friday night. 

The game was highlighted for the Redhawks with Emily Miller recording her tenth double-double of the season adding 14 points and 13 rebounds to the teams total. Additionally, senior teammate Sara Nady brought her career points total to 999 also adding 14 points to the Roberts tally. 

Queens College was on a hot shooting streak in the first quarter going 12-for-16 from the field (75%) racking up 26 points in comparison to Roberts 15 who shot 7-for-15 (46.67%).  

In the second and third quarter Roberts stayed on pace with the Knights nearly closing the gap at the five minute mark in the second only trailing by four points, but Queens held on ending the third with a 17 point lead. 

In the fourth quarter Queens sealed the win with 17 points and the Redhawks added only seven ending the game 82-53 in favor of the Knights. 

The team shot 23-for-65 (35.4%) from the field, 2-for-16 (12.5%) from the three point line, and 5-for-12 (41.7%) from the free throw line.

Up next, Roberts will take on the University of Bridgeport this Sunday. Tip off is scheduled for 4:00 p.m.
