GREENSBURG, PA - The Roberts Wesleyan men's lacrosse team was back in action this afternoon against Seton Hill University, coming off of an 18-3 home win against Alderson Broaddus University. The Redhawks would get off to a slow start offensively, only scoring one goal in the first quarter and allowing four Seton Hill goals. The Redhawks would go on to drop this one 12-3 on the road against the sixth ranked Griffins.
Going into the second quarter down four goals to one, junior attacker Hunter Lemieux scored the first goal of the quarter for either team, bringing the Redhawks within two. However, the Redhawks offense would go cold, not being able to net another goal the rest of the first half. The Lemieux goal would spark a four goal run for Seton Hill to close the second quarter and Roberts would go into the half down by six goals. An unassisted Matt Gademske goal would put Roberts back on the board in the third quarter, but for the last time as the game would finish on another four goal run from the Griffins.
Hunter Lemieux led the Redhawks offensively today netting two goals out of his seven total shots white Maloni led Seton Hill with five goals and two assists.
The Redhawks fall to 2-3 on the season and look to bounce back on Saturday, March 7th at home against Saint Michael's College.
