SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The Roberts Wesleyan men's and women's swimming teams competed in a dual meet at Le Moyne on Saturday. The men fell 201-65 and the women lost, 205-64.
Collin Webb finished first in the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 1:01.52. The senior also placed second in the 50-yard free, touching the wall in 23:03 and the 100-yard free (49.61).
Caleb Larchar was the other winner on the men's team, taking first place in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 1:00.52.
In the women's races, three Redhawks came away with first place finishes on the day.
Paige Siebold was the winner of the 100-yard backstroke, finishing in 1:07.57.
Daniela Rodriguez's time of 2:29.41 in the 200-yard backstroke was good for first place, and
Katelyn Rakiey was first in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 1:07.61.
The Redhawks are back in action again on Nov. 20 at home in the Voller Athletic Center against Utica College and Wells College. The meet is scheduled for 1 p.m.
