Redhawks Win Streak Ends at Three

AMHERST, N.Y. - The Roberts Wesleyan men's soccer team saw its three-game winning streak come to an end in a 3-1 loss to host Daemen College Sunday afternoon at Karrer Field.

Roberts controlled a majority of the play, outshooting the Wildcats 24-4 and holding a 13-3 advantage in shots on goal, but Daemen's three goals in the first 30 minutes of the first half held up.

Justin Robertson scored the goal for the Redhawks in the 61st minute (3-2). The assist came from Tamas Nagy.

The Redhawks now own a 16-5-2 record against the Wildcats.

Roberts defeated Daemen 4-2 at home on March 27.

The Redhawks wrap up their spring slate with an exhibition game at 6 p.m. Saturday, May 1 at the University of Rochester.
